  Brass Tube & Cooper Tube

  1. The functions of copper tube electrode:
  TAGUTI® EDM brass tube is widely used in the many fields such as auxiliary hole in WEDM, capillary hole of spinneret plates, group drilling holes of sieve plate, fluid filling hole of electrical plate, engine cooling holes, spray holes of oil nozzle and other filtration pores in papermaking, chemical fiber and food industries. Whether workpiece surface is curved or beveled, the required holes can be smoothly processed out with high speed. The ratio of depth to diameter of processed hole is more than 200 : 1.

  2.Product Introductions:
  According to materials, copper tube electrode can be divided into two types: brass tube and copper tube. Brass tube and copper tube are respectively crafted from high-quality brass and copper as the raw materials through strictly technical requirements and reasonable processing techniques.

  According to hole type, copper tube electrode can be divided in to single hole electrode and multi hole electrode.

  Single hole electrode tube electrode with higher cost performance remains the choice for majority of users.

  Multi hole electrode tube electrode has the features of good verticality, fast slagging and effective discharge to increase the machining speed.

  TAGUTI® electrode tubes benefit from excellent verticality, super surface finish, strong corrosion resistance, stable performance, blocking resistance and low consumption.

  3. Common Specifications:
  a. Single Hole,
  outside diameter: Φ0.15㎜、Φ0.20㎜、Φ0.25㎜ Length: 200㎜ or 300㎜
  outside diameter: Φ0.3 — Φ4.0㎜ (Each size interval 0.1㎜) Length: 400㎜ or 500㎜

  b. Multi Hole,
  outside diameter: Φ1.2 — Φ4.0㎜ (Each size interval 0.1㎜) Length: 300㎜ or 400㎜

  4.Application range:
  a. Brass tube electrode is mainly used in small hole EDM drill for mould steel (SKD-11) Materials.
  b. Copper tube electrode is mainly used in small hole EDM drill for cemented carbide (KG5,
  W88%, CO12%) materials.

  1.The major role of wire guide in small hole drilling: is to locate, orientate and insulate EDM electrode tubes.

  2.Product Introductions:
  Material: body case — stainless steel, inside — ceramic or ruby

  3.Common Specifications:
  a. Inner diameter: φ0.15mm, φ0.20mm, 0.25mm(Eachsizeinterval0.05mm)
  b. Inner diameter: φ0.3 －φ4.0mm (Each size interval 0.1mm)

  4. Application Scope:
  mainly used in EDM drilling machines such as Agie Charmilles, Sodick, Mitsubishi,
  Chmer, Accutex, etc.
